Love this post! We are sooooo on the same wavelength. I've never heard of it called glimmers but this is exactly how I have intentionally lived for the last 3 years. After my son died (in 2020) I started making a point of noticing small pieces of beauty and smile-inducing moments anywhere I go. Then I say quietly, "Everywhere I see beauty, there you are." 😊

I am so sarry for your loss. What a lovely way to think of him. I think of my parents daily, my mother in 2020 and father in 2021.

My discoveries of glimmer started before I knew what to call them. I started a gratitude journal in 2021. It inspired me to look for good. Then it seemed like I started seeing it everywhere.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my blog newsletter!

It's interesting how loss and grief can change your life both negatively and positively, isn't it? I'm sorry for your losses as well.

I'm so glad Kristina God shared your story in notes today, so I could find it and smile!

Didn't know about this phrase and love it. There are so many glimmers in my daily life. Whenever I encounter these precious moments my heart skips a beat and I'm so grateful to be alive

It’s so nice to have a name for these when they occur! It makes me more conscious of watching for them! Thanks so much, Susan!

John, I was surprised to find out they had a name. And how interesting that they have so many benefits!
