Many changes are welcomed. Others are feared.
We tire of summer and embrace autumn. Decorations emerge from storage. We pull on sweaters. Seasonal foods and activities make an appearance.
It's not just the change of seasons we welcome. Each milestone of life brings changes welcomed with open arms.
Expectant parents welcome the changes a new baby brings. Young children look forward to the changes of being a year older on their birthday. High schoolers anxiously await the transition to college.
A change one person welcomes, another fears.
Moving to a new city. Leaving the security of a job you hate. Letting your children go. The changes of aging. The list depends on your personal experiences.
Chosen or not, change will occur.
Facing changes with knowledge and a growth mindset will help you embrace the possibilities.
View change as the beginning of an adventure.

7 Thoughts on Gratitude and Good. One for each day of the week.
I’m grateful for my sight, specifically my retinas. They process light through photoreceptor cells sending information to the brain, giving us visual recognition of the people we love.
My photo above shows the plateful of seeds offered up in a sunflower. Each sunflower produces 1000 to 2000 seeds.
I love frothing my coffee every morning. Simple pleasures. My frother is inexpensive, yet effective. Here’s an article about the "best".
I’m grateful for the social media community I engage with. We must open ourselves to new ideas and learn to understand each other.
Here’s a quote I love. “…so many things are possible just as long as you don’t know they’re impossible.” - Norton Juster
I’m grateful to the Medium and Ship 30 for 30 communities for helping me write in public.
Change is good.
